REBELUTION ASKS FANS TO COLLABORATE WITH THE

“BLUE MICROPHONES PRESENTS THE REBELUTION ‘GOOD VIBES’ REMIX CONTEST”

Santa Barbara, California based group Rebelution in conjunction with Blue Microphones and Indaba Music has launched the “Rebelution ‘Good Vibes’ Remix Contest” asking fans to remix the song “Good Vibes” from their latest chart topping album, Peace of Mind. Fans have 4 weeks to download the separate instrument tracks of the song and create their own remix for a chance to win $1000 and mics from Blue Microphones. The winning remix will also be promoted by the band and given away as a free download. Peace of Mind, the band’s third studio album, had the highest debut chart position of Rebelution’s career at #13 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart. It also debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Reggae chart, #1 on the Independent Album chart and #4 on the iTunes Album chart. Peace of Mind was released as a multi-length triple album, which includes Peace of Mind: Acoustic as well as Peace of Mind: Dub through the band’s label 87 Music in partnership with Controlled Substance Sound Labs.

Rebelution is currently on their “Peace of Mind Tour” stopping in 42 cities across the country including The Hollywood Palladium, Denver’s The Fillmore, The Fox Theatre in Oakland, Best Buy Theatre in New York and Electric Factory in Philedelphia amongst others.
