Maria Malta
Maria joined PFA in 2006 and since then has been handling numerous campaigns for clients including The Bamboozle Festival/The Bamboozle Roadshow, Keith Urban, We The Kings, Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Joey Kramer (Aerosmith), CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival, Lyle Lovett, PBS Soundstage music TV series, Five For Fighting, Breathe Carolina, Thriving Records, Jet Lag Gemini, A Love Like Pi, Bang Gang, Van Atta High, and others.
Her previous experience has seen Maria at several major record labels, including Atlantic, Capitol, Columbia and Manhattan/EMI Records, successfully implementing and creating media campaigns for both multi-platinum and developing artists. During her career she has worked with Jimmy Eat World, Matchbox Twenty, Everclear, Liz Phair, Pavement, Keren Ann, Tori Amos, Butthole Surfers, Robert Plant, Stone Temple Pilots, Less Than Jake, The Dandy Warhols, to name a few.
Maria grew up in New Jersey and moved to New York City to pursue a job within the music industry. While still in college she began working for the New York-based independent publicity firm, Ren Grevatt Associates handling such clients as concert promoter John Scher/Metropolitan Entertainment Inc., and others. After graduating college, Maria was hired by Atlantic Records and began her career as a publicist.
